Albany International Airport (ALB), located approximately six miles north of Albany, New York, is easily accessible from Interstates 87, 88, and 90, as well as other major roads. The airport is the major air center for Northeastern New York, Western New England, and the Capital Region.

ALB is designed to handle 1.5 million enplanements each year. The airport averages 110 commercial arrivals and departures daily. The airport's Air Cargo Terminal serves DHL, FedEx, Mobile Air, and UPS. ALB is essentially a domestic airport, with scheduled international flights to only Canada. Albany International Airport recently added a 230,000-square-foot terminal. Within the modern terminal, travelers find unique shops, excellent restaurants, and Departure, a museum shop featuring merchandise from 40 area museums. The airport business center is ideal for business travels. The center provides computer and laptop workstations, conference rooms, video conferencing facilities, and a foreign currency exchange. Pay-as-you-go Wi-Fi access, provided by WiFiFee, is available throughout the entire airport.

ALB has more than 6,000 parking places, including a parking garage, long-term, short-term, and economy parking. The economy parking lot is served by the Airport Shuttlebus Service.
